Éric Klinenberg

Eric M. Klinenberg is an American sociologist specializing in urban studies, culture and media. He is currently a professor and director since 2012 of the Institute for Public Knowledge at New York University. de Klinenberg's first book, Heat Wave: A Social Autopsy of Disaster in Chicago, analyzes the aftermath of the 1995 heat wave in Chicago.
