Eva Jospin

For over 10 years, artist Eva Jospin has been composing forest and mineral landscapes exclusively from cardboard. The sobriety of the initial material and the monumental presence of the sculptures contrast with the extremely meticulous and detailed nature of the cut-outs imitating the details of natural landscapes with perfection. She has been invited to occupy the rooms of the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature in the fall of 2021.

Cavern aesthetics

From December 10 to March 15, the Grand Palais presents Eva Jospin in dialogue with Claire Tabouret and the future stained-glass windows of Notre-Dame de Paris. With Grottesco, the artist unveils a brand-new creation: promontory, cenotaph, grotto, ruins, and forest, all fashioned from cardboard. The simplicity of the material contrasts with the monumentality of the volumes and the meticulousness of the cutouts. A perfect opportunity to revisit our last meeting with her.
