La Fondation winner of the 2026 Versailles Prize

We are pleased to announce that La Fondation has been named a winner of the 2026 Prix Versailles, recognizing it as one of the world’s most beautiful hotels.

On Rue Legendre, in Paris’s 17th arrondissement, three distinct buildings have been transformed into a single hybrid space where hospitality permeates the work environment. A five-star hotel, offices, a panoramic restaurant, a fitness center, a spa, and an auditorium—not merely added together, but seamlessly integrated into a shared vision of use and management.

It is this vision that the 2026 Versailles Prize has just recognized, naming La Fondation among the world’s most beautiful hotels.

The jury describes La Fondation as “a model of understated luxury off the beaten path, an arty cocoon that anticipates all the needs and expectations of a 5-star hotel. This Parisian mystery won’t remain a secret for long. ”
